The Lu Lacka Wyco Hundo is a 102 mile mixed terrain ride in the beautiful Wyoming Valley of Northeastern Pennsylvania. I was out for a fall ride when I stopped for a break next to these carvings. I had thought of a name for the ride that I was designing. Nothing came to mind till I sat in their presence. The current day Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wyoming counties were once home to Iroquois, Delaware, and Shawanee Native Americans. I wanted a name for my ride that honored their memory and referenced the current location. The name comes from the counties that encompass the route.
